Care and support services
We provide a wide range of not-for-profit, flexible care and support services for adults and vulnerable local people (not just Octavia tenants) to help them to stay as active and independent as possible. From support services at home to sheltered housing with 24 hour on call help.
If you or someone you know might benefit from our high quality care and support services, visit octaviasupport.org.uk or contact our Care and Support team using the details at the bottom of this page, a summary of our services are also below:
Day care and activities - providing friendly and secure places for local older people to socialise, get a home cooked hot meal and access a wide range of low-cost activities and services that promote independence, wellbeing and quality of life. Members can get involved as much or as little as they want to.
Home adaptations - we offer a home adaptations service to Octavia tenants who are finding it difficult or unsafe to move around their home, use the stairs or use the bathroom. Visit this page for more details.
Independent Living and Extra Care - Octavia have a number of sheltered and extra care schemes that can offer tenants the independence of their own flat, but with the security of knowing they can contact a mobile warden for help if they need it. If you are interested in moving to one of these flats, you can ask to go onto our transfer list or find out more here.
