Projects for young people
We offer a range of free opportunities for young people to gain new skills, confidence, experiences or just have some fun.
The Octavia Foundation runs a creative and learning centre in Pimlico called BASE where young people are encouraged to participate in cultural or creative sessions that they have interest in. Previous session have included practical workshops in filming, music creation and dance classes.
BASE has a kitchen, common room and an office space that includes Apple computers with internet access and a number of creative packages.
Young people aged 7-21 (or up to 25 if disabled and living or studying in Westminster, Kensington and Chelsea, Brent or Hammersmith & Fulham) are always welcome.
We also partner with a local sports club to offer 7-11 year olds summer sports activities.
For more information about opportunities for young people visit the Octavia Foundation website or contact us using the details above.
Many of hte young people we have worked with over the years have gone on to have successful placements in teh creative industries or are now mentoring other young people that we work with.
