Octavia Housing own a small number of properties on a long leasehold basis and also own part of the equity on a range of shared ownership properties (including Right to Buy and Right to Aquire schemes).
In these cases, the individual owner is responsible for paying service charges, ground rent and the cost of major works. However, Octavia Housing own the block or building so we will arrange for any repairs to be done in the communial areas for you.
Where properties are owned on a shared ownership basis, the part owners are entitled to pay further equity at any time.
