Volunteer Awards
An event to thank Octavia Volunteers at Lambeth Palace
Every year we celebrate all the brilliant and dedicated people who give up their time to help us in our mission to create Good Homes, Better Lives.
Our volunteer celebration event is our way of thanking the hundreds of devoted people who help in our charity shops, as befrienders to isolated people, those who help us to provide life-changing training and opportunities for young people, those who fundraise for us as well as the many committed Octavia residents and other local people who regularly give up their time to support our work and make a big difference.
Our 2018 Awards will be held at Lambeth Palace and hosted by Tamsin Greig who has generously supported the event for a number of years.
The award categories are:
- Befriending and care volunteer award
- Shop volunteer award
- Project volunteer award
- Team volunteer award
- Community volunteering award
- Outstanding volunteer award
Reena Mukherji, Director of the Octavia Foundation, said:
