Nominations now open for the 2019 Octavia Foundation Volunteer Awards

Do you know someone who volunteers their time to help us achieve our mission to create Good Homes, Better Lives?  Well it’s that time of year again – it’s your chance to nominate them for an award at our annual Volunteer Celebration Award Ceremony.

This year the event is set to be even bigger and better because the categories have been extended once again! 

The awards recognise the hundreds of dedicated volunteers who help in our offices, shops and at coffee mornings; as befrienders to isolated people; those who fundraise for us; and the committed Octavia residents and local people who give up their time to support our work. 

The 2019 categories are:

• Befriending Volunteer Award 

• Care Volunteer Award

• Shop Volunteer Award

• Team Volunteering Award

• Community Volunteering Award

• Young Volunteer Award (25 and under)

• Outstanding Volunteer of the Year (picked by our judges, from all the nominations submitted).

Every nominee will receive a certificate (and a big thank you!) and the award winners will be presented with a prize at the Award ceremony in the Summer.
