Bridging the Gaps - Benefits awareness film
‘Bridging the Gaps’ is a short film aimed at raising awareness of the new changes to welfare and benefits in England - the details are still being discussed and debated in Parliament under the Welfare Reform Bill, and many of the changes are not expected to begin before 2013. The film was made by nine young people (including tenants of Octavia Housing) as part of a youth project run by the Octavia Foundation and funded by the Big Lottery Fund. You can watch the film below. Find out more about the project and how to request a DVD and information booklet from the Octavia Foundation.
