Overview of our Resident Involvement Strategy
Objectives
The central aim of the strategy is to develop uncomplicated processes enabling resident involvement in the design and delivery of services across the association. Octavia aims to:
- improve the accountability of Octavia to its residents
- provide a clear structure and parameters for resident involvement for staff and residents
- provide more opportunities for resident involvement at strategic and decision-making level
- detail the various options, methods and support available to residents wishing to become involved in the management of their homes
- provide a “menu” for resident involvement with a range of options appropriate to the diverse resident population
- continuously improve the association and its services
Resident rights also come with resident responsibilities and Octavia hopes residents will respond to opportunities to help improve services, build capacity and support their communities.
