Decent Homes
The Government's Decent Homes standard and what Octavia is doing to meet it
By 2010 all our homes have to meet the Government's Decent Homes standard, which is designed to make sure that all social housing is in a good condition.
Basically each home must:
- be fit for purpose
- be in a good state of repair
- have reasonably modern facilities
- be comfortably warm.
