Community Fund Projects

Community Fund

The Foundation set up its Community Fund in November 2006.  The aim is to fund projects that will benefit the local community. We particularly wanted to fund projects that would benefit young people, older people and people from black and minority ethnic communities.

We promoted this fund to the voluntary and community sector in Westminster and Kensington and Chelsea. In March 2007, we awarded grants totalling £31,062 to 15 local voluntary and community groups operating in these boroughs. The maximum grant for each project was £2,500.

Projects that have been funded will run between April 2007 and March 2008.  Below are some examples of the projects that we have funded.
