Supporting vulnerable people with additional care and support
We recognise that simply providing accommodation is not enough for many of our residents. As we get older, many of us often need additional care and support.
We have a team of dedicated support workers who provide a number of services to enable residents to continue to live independently for longer and generally enjoy a better quality of life. This includes:
- providing an individual care plan for each supported resident
- helping you to manage finances and claim benefits
- assisting with form filling, letter writing and handling bills
- putting you in touch with other agencies, such as meals on wheels, home helps and occupational therapists
- making sure that you get the service you need from the health service, for example from GPs, district nurses or psychiatric services
- improving your security awareness, for example by inviting the police to give a talk.
