Type of care available
Maximising choice and helping people to stay independent for as long as they wish.
We offer a wide range of support from simply providing advice and guidance on how to apply for home help, claiming benefits, coping with bills, meals on wheels and installing alarm systems. We also run a Lunch Club for people over 60.
At the other end of the spectrum, we offer extra care housing schemes at James Hill House, Miranda House and Leonora House where people live independently in their own homes but have the support and security of in-house 24 hour carers as well as Highlever Road which is a supported house for people with dementia.
We also provide two day centres - Kensington Day Centre and the Quest where older members are looked after and are able to interact with other friends and individuals in the community during the day.
We have Charter Mark status for our day care provision.
