We are a member of the NHF iN business for Neighbourhood scheme. We recognise that good social housing is about much more than the simple provision of homes. We are actively involved in supporting the communities where we operate.

Investors in People (IIP)
Investors in People (IIP) is a national standard which provides employers with a framework to help them achieve success through effective performance of their staff. To achieve this award, organisations need to demonstrate that staff have the right knowledge, skills and motivation to work efficiently.
Octavia Housing has been an accredited Investor in People for many years. Our last assessment in 2009 described the association as "an organisation that cares for its tenants and for the people it employs."

Connected Partnership
We are the lead member of the Connected Development partnership. Working jointly with the Shepherds Bush Housing Association and with the Origin Group, the partnership develop homes across north and west London. In the two years to March 2008 the partnership has a grant programme of £42 million.
In 2009 the partnership managed to exceed its original targets with the Homes and Communities Agency.

PlaceShapers Group
In 2008 we were active in forming the PlaceShapers Group. The Group now includes 50 associations, all of which share a common commitment to effective local working and true tenant involvement.
