Octavia Foundation charity
Developing better places to live is about more than buildings. With this in mind we set up the Octavia Foundation, a charity which aims to improve the lives of individuals and communities where we operate.
The Foundation provides a comprehensive range of community services that cater to five key strands:
- Engaging with young people
- Supporting and caring for the elderly
- Helping with jobs and training
- Advising on money and debt
- Involving the community

Octavia Foundation Charity shops
To support the work of the Foundation and provide funding for housing and community projects in central and west London, we run over 20 charity shops. We are very grateful to the generosity of local people who donate their goods and our regular customers, many of whom are celebrities!
In 2009, our Kensington Church Street shop featured in a Sunday Times list of the UK’s top 25 charity shops. We also got the thumbs up from formidable fashion retail guru, Mary Portas who declared our flagship Brompton Road shop as “brilliant” in a review in Time Out magazine.
