Octavia’s green ethos continues in the spirit of our founder, Octavia Hill, a Victorian social reformer who campaigned for open spaces and clean air, laying the foundations for the 1956 clean air act. Over 100 years on, we aim to become more sustainable in all areas of our work through an environmental strategy comprising a multitude of innovative and pioneering projects.'
Jess McCabe, Editor of Inside Housing's Sustainable Magazine said: ‘Now in their fifth year, the Sustainable Housing awards 2012 have, once again, been inundated with entries from the leading green organisations featuring the most innovative and impressive projects in the UK.
