We strongly believe that by putting diversity at the heart of everything that we do we will improve the overall effectiveness of the organisation.

Valuing and celebrating diversity is fundamental to our vision and core values. Our approach to diversity and equality is to promote inclusiveness and to value the contribution each individual can make to the delivery of the Association’s aims and objectives.

We are strongly committed to achieving equality of opportunity for all and to ensure that access to employment, training, and promotion is free from discrimination on the grounds of gender, sexual orientation, ethnic origin, religious belief, age or disability.

We aim to treat everyone equally and to ensure that no applicant or employee receives less favourable treatment than another. To achieve this we have detailed procedures, we monitor outcomes of our process and review employment practices on a regular basis at Board level.

We support the concept of flexible working, including job sharing and part time working, and will accommodate these arrangements wherever possible.
